Step 4 - Deploying WarLock
Everything is completely focused on your organization
When the day(s) comes to deploy WarLock DR at your site(s), all other tasks for the installation team are set aside to focus exclusively on your organization’s needs.
Your Account Manager (AM) will be available as needed and your Project Manager (PM) will have the single task of coordinating all resources and executing the project plan for your WarLock DR network.
Please Note :
The following steps describe an install session with your organization’s assigned staff on-site working with the Selenetix engineer(s) located at our Network Operations Center (NOC).
If you would prefer that an engineer be dispatched to your location(s) to perform these tasks, that can be arranged.
Deploy 1 :
As the session begins, all of your organization’s Collectors and Initiators will already be communicating via the Internet so the Selenetix engineer(s) will start by confirming communications between and within your organization’s sites.
Please Note :
If reliable communication between or within your site(s) is not achieved, then the Selenetix engineer(s) will work with your organization’s point(s) of contact to resolve the situation.
Deploy 2 :
After reliable communications are established between and within your site(s), the Selenetix engineer(s) will confirm that the systems are correctly identifying any internal and/or external disk storage that your organization will be using at each site.
Please Note :
If correct identification of all internal and/or external disk storage is not achieved, then the Selenetix engineer(s) will work with your organization’s point(s) of contact to resolve the situation.
Deploy 3 :
After confirming reliable communications and proper access to disk storage, the Selenetix engineer(s) will generate the license keys for your Collector(s) and Initiator(s) and reboot.
Deploy 4 :
Once the Collector(s) and Initiator(s) are fully functional, the Selenetix engineers(s) will generate the encrypted key pairs for each Iniator to Collector relationship. This is the process that binds an Initiator to the safe data repository on a Collector.
Of course, any Collector may accept bindings from multiple Initiators and any Initiator may bind to multiple Collectors.
Deploy 5 :
After the systems are licensed and bound, job configuration can begin. The Selenetix engineer(s) will typically configure the first few and then guide your organization’s personnel until they are comfortable adding, copying, modifying, and deleting jobs.
Congratulations on protecting your hard work.
