Each relationship is independent so every transmission maintains complete file integrity. The diagram below shows several Simplex (one way) relationships to substantially increase your probability of recovering from a disaster by distributing files to multiple locations. The diagram also shows multiple paths from Initiator A to the Internet. More paths provide even greater redundancy. With the ready availability of DSL and Cable broadband adding circuits is a great way to increase your protection. WarLock DR can be configured as an edge device (router/firewall) or simply use available paths.
As noted, combining Duplex site relationships with Multi-Cast and Multi-Home topologies is a great way to build a mesh among peer sites. |
