Step 3 - Schedule your WarLock DR installation
If the hardware at each site can see the Internet, we’re ready
Once your hardware is displaying “Internet OK” from the various sites in your Disaster Recovery mesh, it may take as little as 30 minutes to license the software and configure the first jobs between locations. Of course, most deployments have exceptions and other unforeseen circumstances so Selenetix dedicates a minimum of two hours with our engineering team for each deployment of WarLock DR.
Selenetix’ network operations center (NOC) is located in the Eastern Standard time zone, shown in the right column of the table below. A selected session will have the approximate start hour noted in the table below for each time zone.

Please Note :
Schedule requests are NON-BINDING because the actual reservation is made by your account manager following the go/no-go decision. Although it is possible to schedule multiple sessions, a single “start” time kicks off the process.
Some sessions in the scheduler can not be selected due to:
- Lead time; currently at 3 to 5 business days
- Previously reserved sessions
- Prior obligations or holidays
Schedule 1 :
Request a time slot when it will be convenient for your team to proceed with the WarLock DR deployment. You should probably schedule about one week out to provide a little extra time. Please select a month from the list at right.
Schedule 2 :
After you have requested a time slot and provided Selenetix with your contact information, a dedicated account manager (AM) will be in touch. At a minimum, the following will occur:
- Your AM will review your findings to date
- Your AM will guide you through a comprehensive discussion on the suitability of WarLock to your needs and how best to proceed
- Please let your AM know at this time if you would like to have some, or all, of your solution installed by engineers dispatched to some, or all, of your sites
- You and your AM will make a go, no go, decision
Schedule 3 :
In the event of a “go” decision, the following will occur:
- Your account manager will “commit” one, or more when appropriate, of timeslot(s) on the schedule; after which it can no longer be selected
- Your account manager will assign a member of the Selenetix engineering team as Project Manager (PM) to execute your plan.
- Your Selenetix team will prepare a custom timeline for your deployment with specific guidance and instructions for your data and your site(s)
Please Note :
Your organization will be assigned two (2) primary points of contact while working with Selenetix:
- Account Manager (AM) for customer support issues such as scheduling, pricing, and contracts, etc.
- Project Manager (PM) for technical and configuration issues related to actual deployment.
Excepting by your request, these individuals will be permanently assigned to your account for continuity.
Schedule 4 :
During the period leading up to the deployment, your PM will work with you to ensure the following steps are completed:
- Each piece of hardware participating in your Disaster Recovery mesh along with boot media will need to be at the site where it will be used
- Each WarLock DR Disaster Recovery participant will need to be connected to the LAN with “Internet OK” displayed on screen
- Ideally, a person (non-technical is ok) should be scheduled at each site to help handle logistics issues should they arise
Following the assignment of a schedule date, go to Step 4, deployment.
